The Best Summer EVER

Ah finally… out of Saskatchewan. Its been an interesting year but I’m so happy to be back where I belong. This… is the first week of my time in… Ontario.

Off on my adventure 🙂

My parents booked me with the WestJet unaccompanied minor program.   My flight left at 6:20am.  I had to get up at 3:15 am. We stayed at a hotel in Regina so it wouldn’t have been earlier.  I had mixed feelings about going by myself but I knew once in Ontario the fun would really start!! Off I flew Eastward. It took two hours and thirty-five minutes.  It was cool to travel by myself and it gave me a sense of complete independence 🙂 The crew were so nice and awesome too. Even though I didn’t get to see the cockpit, I still had so much fun.  The crew took very good care of me.

The moment we landed, I looked out the window.  In my head I thought “I missed you so much”!! I saw the city in which my whole life started (literally). I had to wait till I could get off the plane while everyone else got off first.  The crew would take me when everyone was off.   I didn’t care though,  I was just happy with the fact I was in Ontario again. When I got off the plane,  a WestJet worker took me to find my uncle S so I could officially be in Ontario. When she found him,  he signed papers and  she left. We then got my suitcase and  we left.

I spent two days at my aunt L and Uncle S’ house with some of my cousins. We had fun playing video games and going to the park.  Soon enough, the time flew and I was going to my aunty G’s house. It was too late to go to the pool so I waited until the next day.  We didn’t go to the pool right in the morning because we had to go to church.  I’ve been to the church we had gone to a couple of times. Some people recognized me.

We went to the pool at six o clock.  I went to hide because my cousin C was coming and she had no clue I was in Ontario.  My Aunty G asked her she was liking being off school and she said yes.  she was So when she came, I jumped up and said “It’ll be better now that I”m here!!!!!” It took her awhile to figure out who I was because of the sun (I’m blaming it on the sun, you heard it). When she realized, she ran over screaming with joy and squeezing the living daylights out of me. We swam for a while then I went back to get some stuff because I was spending a couple days with her.

The next day was really fun. My friend E came over for a while. I found she was like two feet taller than me. I was shocked, where did the time go by?! Which btw is what I said to her. When she left, we went back to the pool.   After a delicious dinner,  we went to this Awesome frozen yogurt place called Menchies Frozen Yogurt. It was sooooooooo good!! I got cake batter flavour and piled Strawberry popping boba balls on the it. Boba balls are these little things that the inside is really juicy and the outside is edible too but it’s not as good as the inside.  We got our ice cream and left. Pretty soon the next day flew by and I went back to my aunt’s house.

So, this was my first week in Ontario.  More will come!!
