Welcome to the inner-workings of my mind

I’ve been having a rough couple months at school.  I’m getting bullied.

But sometimes it’s hard to prove what is happening when it isn’t physical.  Bullying Canada says bullying can be keeping certain people out of a group, sarcasm, and name calling.  Things like that are called verbal and social bullying.

My mom and dad are in my corner and they are at the school a lot to try and stop it.   Back in Ontario, bullying at my school was dealt with in a snap. Here, I think not so much. I am desperate for more friends and wish that this had never started up in the first place.

It pains me to see this is a major problem here in my town. No one should have to go through this.  It doesn’t matter if you are a child or and adult. Bullying is a horrible thing. Some were so affected by it that, children and adults took their own lives because of it. Some famous anti bullying quotes include: “Imagine every child went to sleep, not fearing what the next day will bring“- Mark Feehily, “Like all bullies, their cowards underneath the swagger“- Robert Pattinson and ” Bullies will: Hate you, rate you, shake you and break you but, how strong you stand is what makes you”– Stay positive quote from Tumblr. I made my own quote ” No matter what they do to demolish your pride, dignity and spirit, stay strong and positive, no one can be able to take that from you” There are many ways to deal with bullying.  No matter what, never let anyone judge you for who and what you are. Just be yourself and be no one else. Places you can go for help

My mom is actually trying to figure out how to become a parent public speaker about bullying.  To talk to parents about the right way to deal with issues like this.  I would love to be able to go with her and talk to kids to about what to do.  It’s hard.  It would be nice to move back home to my old school.

Hope you like it and, if you went through something like this comment.   When we stand together, no one can bring us DOWN!

Disclaimer: My quote and the when we stand together, no one can bring us down is my words. It’s not plagiarism, I looked it up on Google.

  1. Hi! I’m sorry your being bullied. There is this American Girl movie called Chrissa Stands Strong. I think you would really enjoy it. It’s about a girl named Chrissa who is new and gets bullied by three girls.

It is hard when you’re in the middle of things to stay strong but it sounds like you have a good attitude and the support of your mother.

  3. I’m sorry you’re being bullied and I hope your mum and the school are able to get it to stop. You sound like a really strong, intelligent young lady and I look forward to following your blog and seeing you come through the other side of this horrible bullying, even stronger 😉 Sending big hugs from Lincoln, UK 🙂 xx

  4. I’m so sorry to read that you are being bullied. My 11 year old daughter is being bullied at school every day and it is horrible. I completely understand how your Mum must be feeling right now.
The advice we are giving my daughter is to not retaliate, to stay as far away from the bullies as she can and to report absolutely everything that is said or done to her (either to her teacher or to us).
The most important thing to remember is that you are better than these bullies and the only reason that they are picking on you is because they are jealous of you.
I know it’s really hard, but stay strong. You will get through this.
Sending you and your parents love and hugs from the UK, I hope you beat the bullies soon xx

    • Thanks for commenting. I’m sorry your daughter is getting bullied too. The advice you gave your daughter sounds really good. Its good to have lots of support. 🙂

  5. Hello, I am so sorry to read about this. There is lots of bullying in my brother and sisters school, and in other local schools, two children killed themselves because of it. It is awful, horrible and no-one should have to put up with it. Keep strong, speak out, as you are doing. I really hope it is sorted out very very soon xx

    • Hi!!! Thanks for commenting! Bullying is an awful and horrible thing. I hope it works out to. I hope the bullying at your siblings school stops.

  6. So sorry to hear you’re being bullied. I was bullied in school and it’s an awful thing to deal with. I’m so glad to hear your parents are supporting and helping you. You sound like a brave, intelligent little lady and I know you’ll come through this. Sending lots of love and hugs from Cardiff, UK xxx

  7. I’m sorry to hear you’re going through a hard time, bullying is an awful thing to go through. I was bullied through most of my school years because I was always the new girl, we moved a lot. I glad to hear you have support from your folks, and even when those immature and nasty people from school are getting you down, smile. The worse they are the bigger you smile. They are wanting you to feel crap, well don’t. You have no reason too, they are the ones with the problem. They are insecure and as another reader wrote are probably jealous. otherwise they wouldn’t bother you. Let your teachers or parents know if anything happens and just be yourself, you’re amazing. x

  8. So sorry to hear about the bullying. A huge well done to you and your mom for speaking up about it. My son was bullied a lot at school because he has ASD – things got so bad for him that we homeschooled him. He is now back in school but in a different school who are amazing but it did make me sad that things like this were still happening and the teachers just didn’t understand. Stay strong and well done again for raising awareness of this! x

    • Hi ! Thank you for commenting. Im glad your son is safe and at a good school now. Thank you. I wrote about so other kids know they’re not alone.

  9. im sorry this is happening to you and i agree shame on the parents for letting this happen, rise above it and be the sweet girl you are Jessica

  10. Hi Jess, I’m really sorry to hear about the bullying – it can be really difficult to deal with the more subtle types of bullying, the being left out and snarky comments. It sounds like your parents are being great, and I hope you come through this. I’m sure you will – it’s the other girls who will hopefully realise, at some point, that their behaviour is just not on. Often people are just following the crowd.

  11. So sorry to hear about this Jess. Never forget that your blogging friends from all around the world think you’re great and will always support you. The world is so much more than a few idiots in school.

  12. […] you follow the kids blog, you might have seen her latest post. For the past little while she has been bullied. It has been verbal and social bullying. Which is a […]

  13. Sorry to hear that you’re being bullied I’ve been in the stage but not as serious.
